Meet the team
Our team at True North Catering serves up locally sourced food and creates bespoke menus that bring people together.

Chef Carlie Cornett comes from a family of Kentucky farmers, and she has traveled all around the U.S. and the world in her culinary training. She brings adventurous flavors to every menu she creates!

Catering manager Cathy Nalley dedicates herself to providing a seamless experience with a whole lot of love. She'll help you organize all the important logistical details for your catering event.
We believe in community. We love that magic that happens when you can bring people together with good food. We strive to use local in season ingredients, cooked with the knowledge we have learned from our travels. All are welcome at our table and we hope you enjoy what we have to offer.
Our mission to serve locally-sourced foods sustainably isn't just a trend, it's a lifestyle.
When you hire us to cater your event, you can rest assured knowing you are supporting at least 10 other local businesses, including farms and markets, in the meals we prepare and serve to you and your guests.

Thank you for supporting True North Catering in our mission.

Never a dull moment
I have a Husky mix named Tikaani, an Australian Shepherd named Huckleberry, and a part bengal cat named Fig!
Most memorable career highlight
When I was 24, I interned at a restaurant in Alaska. After the sous chef quit, the head chef asked me to take his place and said he believed I had so much potential! This was such an important moment of my culinary training and an experience I will never forget.
Most interesting place I've traveled
Marrakesh, Morocco. The couscous, the mint tea, seeing the city at nights from the rooftop - I fell in love with this city!
Favorite thing to cook or eat
I love to experiment with anything fresh and in season!

My rescue
I have a lovable rescue named Ragnarok "fate of the Gods" (or Rags for short), who wandered into my backyard and the rest is history.
Memorable career highlight
I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan, and True North had the delight of catering a Hobbit themed wedding. It was the best time of my life!
Most interesting place I've traveled
We went to Scotland for our company trip, and
the food and views were out of this world.
Favorite thing to cook or eat
Chef's vegan sweet potato and quinoa bites. I could eat those for the rest of my life!
